New occupiers at Woking Business Park

2012 saw seen a number of exciting transactions at Woking Business Park.

  • Early in the year Sytex UK Limited took occupation of Unit 20, a 6,767 sq ft property as a base for its architectural FoamStone products which it supplies to the construction and renovation industry.
  • In March, Wincan Europe - the supplier of pipe inspection software, took Unit 10, a 1,697 sq ft property at Woking Business Park.
  • CRS Racing, the British motor racing team founded in 2007 by Chris Niarchos and Andrew Kirkaldy, has moved into Unit 22 the 51,692 sq ft unit at the front of the business park.
  • In October KM Products completed the letting of Unit 18. The 6,628 sq ft refurbished property has been taken on a five-year lease.

Jones Lang LaSalle director Tim Clement believes that the success of Woking Business Park over the past year is due to a number of factors: "During the economic downturn, like a lot of the South East, the lack of new speculative industrial developments in the Woking area led to an increase in demand for good quality, refurbished accommodation.

"The town continues to be popular with companies seeking good transport connections, with the M25, M3 and A3 all within a ten minute drive. The road access to Woking Business Park, and the rest of the Sheerwater area, will be improved further with the new access road later this year."
